Roanoke Greek Festival -September 16, 17, 18, 2011

Location: Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church
               30 Huntington Blvd NE

Today we headed down to the Greek Festival. I love the cultural festivals in Roanoke - mainly because I like to experience other cultures and introduce my children to them too. My all time favorite part is the food - I loved the Gyros, Greek Fries, and Loukoumades. I really wanted to try the Galaktobouriko, but the spouse was ready to leave. I guess that means we'll have to stop back by tomorrow for a taste.

The entertainment was fabulous - the music was soothing. The dancing was amazing. We also enjoyed the Agora Marketplace. The children picked out some new Christmas ornaments.
